[Tango-L] tango films and documentaries to buy

I recently came across information on a new documentary entitled, "Maestros
Milongueros" by Bebe Kamin which was released in late 2006.  He is Argentine
whose given name is Bernardo Czermerinsky.  The filming was done in 2004 and
included footage of Gerardo Portalea, Alicia Monti, Osvaldo and Coca
Cartery, Pupi Castello, Margarita Serrentos, Graciela Gonzalez, Horacio
Godoy, and the late Carlos Gavito.  I haven't read any announcement of its
premiere in movie theaters.  At some point it may be available on DVD.

The Guia Trimestral B.A. Tango Buenos Aires Tango contains a listing of 15
stores that carry tango videos/DVDs.  The phone numbers are listed so you
can inquire first.
