[TANGO-L] Benefit for Alito in Club Gricel

Hector Chidichimo, owner of Gricel, offered his club for the night.  Hector
Pelozzo and Norma of Cachirulo along with Oscar and Lucia of Lujos organized
the benefit and show last night on behalf of Mario Alan Candamil Santamaria,
better known as Alito.

It could only be described as a night of milongueros.  Among the 240 dancers
were milongueros Jose Luis Aceto, Miguel Angel Balbi, Hugo Belvisi, Roberto
Bonavato, Mario Calarota, Roberto Carreras, Osvaldo Centeno, Eduardo Del
Bueno, Ernesto Delgado, Hector Delgado, Ernesto Hector Garcia, Carlos Greco,
Jorge Palacios, Hugo Rojas, Ricardo Suarez, Jorge Uzunian and Ricardo
Vidort.

The show included Gustavo Chidichimo & Virginia Martorani with two milongas
con traspie, Horacio Brito & Guillermina Quiroga with a tango and milonga,
and Dany Garcia.  Ricardo Vidort commented to me that Dany is the best
milonga con traspie dancer in the world.  Unfortunately, Dany didn't have a
partner for the evening who can complement his simple and elegant
style, and she tried to steal the show and failed.  Dany is the show.

The benefit raised 2,400 pesos for Alito.
