The exact name is Urania Mozi which means Cinema "Urania". However, the
proper name of the institution is Urania National Movie Theater. It also
hosts the National Academy of Film Arts.

It was built by Henrik Schmahl in venetian gothic and eastern moorish style
on the request of a private enterpreneur. The name "Urania" is a
coincidence: The Urania Scientific Association used (rented) the building
for only a few years, but the name stuck. It is located on one of the
largest avenues of Budapest.

There is a milonga every Sunday in the café for the third year now. However,
we can only remain there because it is a state owned and run institution,
with little interest in squeezing out every buck from the venue. 

If you happen to come to Budapest, make sure you check out the place (you
can also meet me there, usually I hold a practica btw 7pm-8pm before the
milonga), we don't know how long can we dance tango there...
