Yes, there are many Finnish tangos. And they do sound
different from Argentinean ones. Also The Finnish
version of El Choclo sounds more like a Finnish tango
than an Argentinean.

The tango you're referring to, Satumaa, is a work of
art by one of our most famous tango composers, Unto
Mononen (1930-1968) who was both a composer and a
lyricist.

Satumaa probably is the most famous one of the Finnish
tangos. The lyrics are about a person (usually a
man)longing to be somewhere else (than this unhappy
real life), a place where all worries would cease to
exist and he could be united again with his love. But
while dreaming of this, he also realises that this
will not be the case, that he cannot be with his loved
one. But still in the end of the song he tries to
reassure that his sweetheart is and will be the only
one he'll ever think of. It's a sad song, really. Like
many other Finnish tangos.
