I have seen occasionaly in Buenos Aires at some milongas, a placard at the
entrance, which indicated the types of music to be played that evening, and
also the relative proportions.  Example:

Tango 70%
Folklorico 10%
Salsa 10%
Swing 10%

I always thought this was a very practical solution.  Everyone knows, before
paying and entering, approximately what the mix of music will be. I imagine
this helps prevent misunderstandings, and is probably quite useful at a venue
like Club Arminia, for example, which as I understand it, hosts on different
nights of the week many different types of events by various sponsors.
