[TANGO-L] Happy New Year

Happy New Year, everybody, from the Land of the Rising Sun. It is January
1st, 5.20am here in Tokyo, and I am sure, many are headed towards the
seaside right now to watch the sun rise on New Year's morning. Me, however,
I am headed for bed, after dancing at two all night milongas, one after the
other.
I meant this to be a happy message, but I found Janis's posting, so the
feeling is mixed with sadness. I thought, the earth quake and following
tsunami, that "changed the map of Asia" would probably the grand finale in a
chain of unfortunate events in 2004, and now, a the end, this.

Let us all pray that 2005 will bring us happiness and peace
