[TANGO-L] Tango demographics

Hi:
Does anybody ever ponder about way the Tango isn't more popular in the USA?
Besides cultural considerations, there is not much Tango presence in the
mainstream media. Not even as a "cultural" agenda of any source.
Maybe this is due to the ignorance (or lack of information) about the
economic demographics of our community.
I'm not aware of any study about this topic, which I'm sure will help
convince more than one media executive, about the "profitability" of our
community.
Any suggestions about existing studies, or on how to conduct one will be
appreciated.
