Wrong question.  You don't need to change anybody.
Just refuse to associate with people that disturb you.
 It isn't anyone's job to "wake them up" unless we're
talking about criminal activity and then there's the
courts for that if you require it.  Just leave them
alone and settle your mind.  Problem solved.
