milonguita & milonguera

This two words are related to the history of argentine tango and their
scripts.

The spanish translation from lunfardo are

Milonguera: Joven cabaretera (a woman working at a cabaret)
Milonguita: Mujer de vida aireada ( a woman that prostitute herself)

Nowadays ,as far as I can say, milonguita is not a word usually applied for
a woman or a venue . The venues are called "milongas" . Maybe when inviting
a woman at a venue to dance , it could be say " may we dance this
milonguita ??"

Milonguera is a woman , that could be young, old, just married, divorced ,
widow , and loves to dance tango music , and also loves to go to the venues
where tango music is played.

Lunfardo is very precise, it does not only describe the actual situation of
the woman / man within a tango script, but also explain how she/he arrived
to that condition, when, where ,with whom .

So it is difficult to use the words of the scripts , in the 2001 year . The
meanings have changed, also the economical environment that produce the
material for tango scripts, and the cultural habits.

There are no more cabarets in Buenos Aires as they were in the 40's .
Prostitution ( women & men ) is part of the daily life , it is not more
something that happened at the outskirts of Buenos Aires. You may have a
prostiture working in your own building, or in the street of your
neighbourhood , there are no "red zones", just time tables , daylight is for
everyday neighbours and their families, night and dawn is for prostitution.
Same street .

However , now I remember that milonguita is the name of a little piece of
bread , a type of bread with crust that is sold at the bakerys by dozen,
since it is very little , just for a morsel , or a little sandwich. In
Mexico , the milonguita is called "chilindrina" .

Because when you read " milonguita" in a tango script, you need to know the
rest of the script , to see if
Maybe the same day will go to two milonga venues , or after the tango
lesson, or if there is an open milonga free, she will go
