Peninsula Tango Society

I'd like to say I attended the 4th Friday of the month milonga in Los
Altos sponsored by the Peninsula Tango Society and I had a great time.
I even had fun! And that's simply what it's all about!! [:-)] No, it
wasn't a subversive group and it had no intentions of overthrowing or
underminding any status quo of our tango community. The fact that a few
members of the bay area tango community sought to undermine this
innocuous group whose only intention was to provide a needed service to
the tangueros and tangueras of the south bay is indeed a sad commentary
about the pettiness of some of the people in our group. I pronounce a
pox on your first born!
I will continue to enthusiastically support Ruddy's and Judith's milongas
on the 1st and 3rd Fridays in Los Altos, and I truly appreciate the
incredibly hard work they put in to make their milongas the success they
are. But, I also will continue to support the Peninsula Tango Society
for it's sponsorship of their milonga. It sure beats traveling 45 miles
into San Francisco (from Fremont) on the 4th Friday of the month to get
my tango fix.
