I've had wonderful success finding old Tango sheet music from all over the
world--and from as early as 1916--on E-bay.  I think it is usually written
for the piano, though I bid on it solely for the art on the cover so I don't
pay much attention to the instument it's written for.  I've paid anywhere
from $7.50 to $20 per piece and have more than 20 pieces now. There are
usually 5 or 6 for auction on a given day.  If you're just interested in the
music (and not the cover art) and aren't picky about the condition, I've
seen it go for much less --around $2 or $3.
