Ramiro,
The reference to the "puchero," implied that Villoldo's hoped that
the
success of the Tango he had composed would put food on his table.
"Puchero" has been considered a staple of the poor, and many people
still use the term "earning the 'puchero'" as in making a living,
putting food on the table.
