Subject: European tango festivals this summer
I wanted to travel Europe the weeks of May 26-June 10, 2000.
Could people on the list give me the tango festivals that are planned
during this period in Germany, Spain, Netherlands, Belgium, France, Italy,
Switzerland, Wien, London.
Url's to website would be appreciated.

To all those people who came to Cleveland, Ohio this weekend for Timmy
Tango's Snow Ball , let me say hello and I hope you had as good a time as I
did. The whole event was high energy and well run and the array of teachers
and personalities made it a very special weekend. I hope more people can
join Timmy and the rest of his Cleveland contingent next year for sure for
the third annual tango festivities. Looking forward to connecting with more
of you in the future and thanks to all of you who joined us this year.

I believe that the New York Trio recorded it on their CD Cabarute.

Subject: Ladies' night in Helsinki
Hi,
I have heard that there is a dancing place in Helsinki, Finland, where
once a week, I believe on Wednesdays, it's "ladies' night", which
means the ladies invite the men to dance.
I am wondering if anybody knows about this place, if it is an argentine
tango milonga, or a finnish tango dance, or some other dances, and what
it feels, being used to do the invitations, to find instead yourself on the
other side... (Oh no, that ugly lady is coming right towards me....!)
(Why isn't that beautiful brunette ever coming my way? Should I move
to a table right in her way?).
I am planning to visit to Helsinki, an answer to the above would be greately
apreciated.
Gutten tangos,
Erik Grandmass

Please, there are no ugly ladies. All are exquisitely beautiful; though in
individual statements of that common beauty.

Subject: ugly/beautiful people
This is the first time that I have used this address; so I have no idea if
it works.
In the milonga in Argentina, there is no question of ugly or handsome men.
The ONLY thing that matters if they can dance. Therefore the handsome and
beautiful, if that is all they have to offer, are Ignored.
