Date: Thu, 20 May 1999 11:57:06 EDT From: Timothy Pogros <TimmyTango @AOL.COM> Subject: Daniel Lapadula Cleveland's had a tremendous tango experience last night. A man who can teach Passion. How often I've gone to workshop where all they taught is tango steps, it's nice to have someone who is able to show you the feeling as well. Daniel Lapadula, is that man. This was his third visit to the Cleveland area, and I'm sure I'll invited him back for a forth. Daniel is now on his way to teach in Detroit, at Troy Dance Studio, with a milonga Sunday night at the brickhouse. If Daniel comes to your area I totally recommend you go to his workshop.

Date: Thu, 20 May 1999 15:30:18 -0300 From: Janis Kenyon <jantango @FEEDBACK.NET.AR> Subject: Tango Book by Juan Carlos Copes Last October I had a few copies of Juan Carlos Copes' book to offer for sale on Tango-L. The response was overwhelming for the 15 copies I had. The book was out of print. I attended his class last night and discovered the book was reprinted in February 1999. The new cover photo is of Juan Carlos and his daughter Johana Carla. It is available for purchase at Nuevo Salon Argentina in Buenos Aires. His classes are held there on Wednesday night from 7:30 to 9:00pm. Juan Carlos and Johana will be teaching next week at the United States Tango Congress in Miami Beach. I am sure he will bring copies of his book, so those of you who are planning to attend will be able to pick up a copy. Janis Kenyon
