Subject: Tape from Miami
Dear Listeros,
My friend Joyce has been having some e-mail problems making her first post to
the list, so she asked me to please forward this message on to you:
> Dear List:
> We just saw a preview tape of the recent Tango Congress of Miami Beach
put

> Minne. It shows all the steps taught in the workshop by Daniella &
Armando,

We had an opportunity to see this tape also, and completely agree with Joyce.
Unfortuneatly, Joel and I were not able to make it to the Tango Congress of
Miami Beach this year, but we both found Jerry Minne's tape to be of the
highest quality. In addition to the very clear and well taped demonstrations
of the material taught at the Congress, Jerry has added the performances of
the very talented Miami Tango community that were presented at the event.
Our friends all had a wonderful time at the Congress this year and we hope to
join them next year.
Abrazos a todos,
Kathy

Subject: Miami Congress Videotape!
Last night, we watched the videotape of Jorge Nel's 1999 Miami Tango
Congress with several friends.
I have to say that Jerry Minne, the producer, did an excellent job shooting
and editing the tape. As instructional videos go, it is second to none.
Jerry's editing is superb and he also included slow motion to clarify some
of the steps and techniques.
Jerry also captured the flavor of the event, adding clips of the evening
milongas and Jorge's Friday night dance show.
I believe the tape can be ordered through Jorge Nel.
P.S.
Susan Mossman, a Tanguera from Detroit, also did an excellent job assisting
Jerry with the camera work.

Greetings Friends,
My next Milonga is this Saturday. Marcelo Varela and Analia Vega from Buenos
Aires will teach the class from 8:30 to 9:30 PM and later in the evening they
will perform their exciting interpretation of the milonga.
Don't miss this last opportunity to see this young, delightful couple dance.
Marcelo and Analia will be back in the Bay area, but for this time they
return to Argentina on May 10.
Join us at the Lafayette Veteran's Hall, 3491 Mt. Diablo Blvd., Lafayette,
corner of First Street and Mt. Diablo Blvd. For more information call Jeanne
