One of our Tangueras here in London works for the BBC (British Broadcasting Company). She would like to get hold of a copy (legitimate) of the Tango film made in the USA called, she thinks, "Tango Passion", made by a tanguero in LA? There was mention of this film some time ago. There is a possibility that the BBC may wish to broadcast it. Many thanks in advance for your help. Regards to you all Paul Lange El Once Tango News http://www.elonce.dircon.co.uk

Date: Fri, 11 Jun 1999 10:09:00 -0400 From: Michael Ditkoff <Michael.B.Ditkoff @USDOJ.GOV> Subject: Tango in Washington James Rohman wanted to know where to tango in Washington, DC. I don't know if he is familiar with Washington so giving a lot of street addresses might be useless. I'll start by giving you the Capital Tangueros telephone hot line: (202) 546-2228 x36 I forget their web page, but go to Net Search on the Internet. The magic words are "Tango in Washington, DC." The search engine will locate the web page. The only constant location is the Pines of Florence restaurant, 7151 Lee Highway in Falls Church, VA. EVERY Sunday, lesson from 6-6:30 and milonga until 10:30. Other locations are based on 2nd and last Friday (Silver Spring, MD); 3rd Saturday (Kensington, MD), 2nd and 4th Saturdays (Washington, DC). You need to have a calendar to figure it out. If you have a car, access isn't a problem. If you don't have a car, only the milonga in Washington, DC is readily accessible. Good luck!

Date: Fri, 11 Jun 1999 09:34:02 -0700 From: Planet Tango <tangoman @HOOKED.NET> Subject: Words of appreciation...(2) Dear Tango friends, >I need to express my most sincere appreciation to all the people who welcome me and Valorie during our separate and joint activities... The list would be very long but there are a few who deserve a public recognition... It was Rob Clark not Bob Clark, and I unintentionally left out Lily Ader of Miami who opened her home generously for a wonderful workshop on May 18. There are many other people to whom we owe gratitude whose names would make a very long list so we keep them where it counts, in our hearts. Don't forget to join us in Phoenix for workshops the weekend of June 19-20 and in San Francisco for our monthly milonga at Union Square on Saturday June 26. Tangazos, TangoMan Thank you for visiting Planet Tango for up to the minute information at, http://www.hooked.net/~tangoman/
