Subject: The Dreaded Back Step: Compromise
Despite the significant efforts of some list members in trying
to convince other men NOT to take the Dreaded Back Step, I'll
suggest a compromise:
A man can take a back step against the line of dance if he
A) Wears illuminated reverse lights like on a car
B) Gets a horn or yells "Beep, Beep, Beep" to sound like a
truck backing up
C) Gets somebody to provide flag protection
One particular woman can't stand being the butt of collisions
(no pun intended). She takes revenge by going on attack like a
submarine searching for ships. "Course Bearing 180, Range Mark
3 feet and closing fast. Open outer torpedo doors. Stand by to
Boleo. Fire! DIRECT HIT!!"

http://www.tangosandiego.com
Dear List,
Having recently moved to San Diego from Seattle, and having been
spoiled rotten by Seattle's great website maintianed by Gerri Krause,
( http://members.aa.net/~gerrik/Tango/ ) I decided to make a website
with San Diego tango dance information.
I'm trying to post all info on San Diego tango dancing that I can
find. The page is still pretty new, so, expect changes in the future.
I plan to reoganize the page soon to be organized by classes,
milongas, practicas, and events (like the seattle page) rather than by
place. Also, if you happen to know of any other events I should link
to it, please let me know.
If you're going to be down this way, you may want to check it out and
stop by a class, milonga or practica.
I've posted schedules and set up links to the San Diego dance
teachers/places that have them. Also, feel free to contact me
directly with question and I'll do my best to answer them.
The page is currently hosted at earthlink, but, that won't necessarily
be permanent, so, if you bookmark it, be sure to set the bookmark to
the http://www.tangosandiego.com URL.
I look forward to hearing from you and dancing with you!
Sincerely,
Mike Hamilton

Cast members include:
Fernando and Guillermo (I think - sp? sorry)
Sandor and Beverly
Diego and Carolina
and another couple, who unfortunately I can't remember the name of.
High performance dancing. It's a very polished, well-budgeted looking
show.
