You have been very encouraging. One message I was unsuccessful in responding to directly, was Daniela Arcuri. My message kept returning as failed/problem with delivery. So rather than appear rude to her, please permit me this means to respond to her. Gracias Daniela. Nicolas tuvo gran alegria de recibir tu noticias y te envia carinos. Aprecie con admiracion tu actuacion con Armando en Solo Tango y espero tener la suerte de encontrarte proximamente in Buenos Aires. Hunh? Daniela a burden? Never when I've danced with her, & that has been several months, including just recently. She & Armando Orzuza live in Los Angeles now, & she dances with a lot of people. To me she feels just right, just enough resistance that I know I m dancing with a woman, but with the kind of perfect responsiveness for which "light as a feather" was invented. Arthur Greenberg says, & I ve noticed from watching her dance with other men large & small: > She will adjust her lean to whomever dances with her for there are no two > men who dance exactly alike. Daniela often dances apilado style, & she does it well, leaning a little but supporting all but a bit of her weight. Susana Miller, on the other hand, who teaches that style, leans very heavily, so much that I found it painful when she was here two or three years ago. (Has she changed since then, or does she still do it?)
