Pittsburgh Tangueros hosts an Argentine Tango workshop with Tomas Howlin, including milonga Saturday night with music by DJ Manuk Colaykan.

Solidly credentialed in training, performance, and teaching, Tomas Howlin's dance is deeply inspired by the  traditional esthetic that has characterized the style and elegance of this dance for the past 60 years. 

Tomas believes in a natural, comfortable, thoughtful and skillful tango; one that is unique for each person. Tomas revisits Pittsburgh regularly to coach and encourage the Pittsburgh community. Friday, Jan 27                 

A)   7:00 - 7:30 pm           Sign up and warm up

      7:30 - 9:00 pm           Musicality:  Milonga drills and thrills. All levels.

      9:00 - 10:00 pm         Practice

Saturday, Jan 28              

B)   1:30 - 3:00 pm           Technique & Mechanics:  changes of direction and rewinds. Intermediate.

C)   3:15 - 4:45 pm           Teasers:  offer and share tango temptations with your partner. Intermediate.

      9:00 - 1:30?                MILONGA 

                                       With Tomas and special guest DJ Manuk Colakyan. Dress to express - 
refreshments provided.  $10 

Sunday, Jan 29                

D)  1:30 - 3:00 pm           Musicality: Vals drills and thrills. Intermediate.

E)   3:15 - 5:00 pm           Neo - Nuevo-Liquid.  Strong intermediate.
