NA-C: New Year's Eve in Mt Vernon MO

Dear Friends, a warm reminder on this cold day...Please come to Mt Vernon MO for your New Year's Eve Celebration.

The spotlight is on Brian Dunn and Deb Sclar of Boulder CO.  They will be teaching and performing this most beautiful of all the dances, the argentine tango.  Dan Diaz will share the stage playing bandoneon, the most important instument in the tango orchestra.  www.brian-dunn.co

Best of all, we will just get together and dance, keeping warm in the close embrace, while we celebrate another year.  

I already have people coming from distant places, lots of local interest, so don't miss this gala event.  

ARGENTINE TANGO CLASSES
2-4 PM Sat afternoon Dec 31 will start the festivities with a tango class taught by Brian and Deb.  You will love their style and grace, helping even the novice in Argentine tango to dance like a pro.  
11 AM -1 PM Sunday New Year's Day will continue your lesson in the "dance of the heart."   
Cost of classes is $25 each per class or both classes for $45 each person.   

DINNER:
6:00 PM Sat, New Year's Eve Dinner with Maggie Mae's entrées of grilled salmon, barbeque brisket, scalloped potatoes, steamed veggies, spinach salad, pasta salad, homemade rolls and assorted pies and cakes with 2 drink tickets from the bar.  Live music also.  Cost of dinner $25.00 ea.  

TANGO SHOW
7:30 Showtime at The Horseshoe Theatre (one block South)
A History of Tango in Music, Song, and Dance.  Cost $10 ea.  

MILONGA
8:30-till way after 2006- back to Murray's for New Year's Milonga.  Includes snacks, favors, and a champagne toast at 12:00.  Cost of milonga $20 each.
