Mariano (Chicho) Frumboli & Eugenia Parilla
are probably the most ingenious dancers that have emerged from Gustavo Naveira's school. More fascinated with the modern than with the traditional Tango they prefer the "new Tango" of Pugliese and Piazzolla. In their classes they encourage their students to change their perception of music and rhythm, to find new ways of moving, to question rigid patterns. They do not teach a style but just the pure enjoyment of dancing the Tango: open or in close embrace, cool or with your entire heart, fast or slow, meditative or expressive.
For advanced dancers only.
Price: EUR 735 per person for 15 hours of Tango lessons, lodging in private appartment for 2 persons, breakfast and dinner, beverages included for one week. (With lodging in single room EUR 785).
Tango at Villa La Rogaia
· Come to Italy for a combination of Tango, Arts, Culture, Food, Wine and more...
· Profit from individual teaching: our classes are limited to 8 participating couples.
· Spend a relaxing week at Villa La Rogaia, an old countryhouse with a large garden and a pool. It is situated in the hills above Lake Trasimeno between Rome and Florence. Participants will stay in individually crafted double or single rooms (shared bathroom for two bedrooms) or in holiday appartments (for two persons).
· Enjoy our hearty and healthy breakfast and authentic Umbrian cuisine dining on our terrace overlooking the rolling hills of Umbria and Tuscany. And of course there is dancing every night.
· Get inspired by Italy's wealth of culture and history: We arrange art
historical excursions to Arezzo, Assisi or Perugia and more.
· Combine your Tango vacation with cooking classes, olive harvest or learn how to paint or sculpt marble...
