NA-W: "Tango & Wine" tour - Julio Balmaceda & Corina de la Rosa and Mingo & Esther Pugliese.

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen of the Tango,

With great pleasure, I announce that the registration will begin tomorrow,
November 26, 2002, for a very special tour called "Tango & Wine" that will
take tango dancers to the lush wine country of Mendoza, Argentina. Along
with the wine tasting experience and a resort vacation, this trip offers
participating dancers an intensive and very exclusive training on
Intermediate, Intermediate/Advanced and Advanced Professional levels with
two great couples of Argentine Tango - Julio Balmaceda & Corina de la Rosa
and Maestros Mingo y Esther Pugliese.

The purpose of this tour is two fold:

1. To offer dancers an intensive, focused and very exclusive tango
training in a more secluded environment with master teachers that are
either not frequently available to the North American dancers, such as
Julio Balmaceda and Corina de la Rosa, or who do not travel at all, such as
the legendary maestros Mingo and Esther Pugliese. The dancers will have an
opportunity to focus on their tango training as well as on conditioning and
training their bodies and also relaxing in the luxurious resort
setting. In addition to that, because of the small size of the group, the
dancers will receive a lot of individual attention from the master teachers
and will be able to work on aspects of tango that are unique to their own
dancing technique and style.

2. To offer dancers, who often travel to Argentina and may be intimately
familiar with Buenos Aires, an opportunity to see another, very lush and
historic part of Argentina that is very different and far removed from
Buenos Aires. This will allow dancers to experience Argentina on another
level of the senses, tasting the wines that are not available any place
else and exploring a new part of this beautiful country. This trip is
meant to be a creative journey that allows dancers to explore and connect
with new places, new sensations and put that inspiration into their ongoing
tango training.

This tour will take place February 28 - March 15, 2003 and the airfare
included in the tour will allow an adjustment so that the dancers that wish
to stay longer and participate in the C.I.T.A in Buenos Aires can do
so. We will also be able to assist with finding very inexpensive
accommodations for the C.I.T.A .participants.

The tour includes the following:
· 18 hours of classes with Julio Balmaceda & Corina de la Rosa.
· 18 hours of classes with Maestros Mingo & Esther Pugliese.
· 2 days in Buenos Aires milongas before & one day after the trip to
Mendoza.
· Welcome dinner at a special restaurant.
· City Tour of Buenos Aires.
· 3 nights stay at the Hotel Crown Plaza Panamericano (5 star hotel)
in Buenos Aires.
· 9 nights stay at San Rafael Hotel & Spa in Mendoza (4 star hotel).
· Wine tasting & excursions in Mendoza, including fishing & rafting.
· All airport & hotel transfers
· All air transportation from your city in the United States to
Buenos Aires & Mendoza with option to extend and stay in Buenos Aires for
the C.I.T.A.

The cost of the tour is $2543 - $2742, depending on your city of
origination if registered before January 5, 2003 . After that, the low
discounted airfares cannot be guaranteed.

Because of the intense technical tango training offered by the master
teachers during this tour, the registration is open to only 20
couples. You do not need to have a dance partner to be able to
participate and we will arrange a complete gender balance for the
tour. However, if you are a single dancer wishing to register, please
register before December 27, 2002. Those dancers that are travelling as a
dance couple, may register at any time. As a participating dancer, you will
have the focused attention of the master teachers and will have an
opportunity to schedule private lessons in addition to the group classes.
