NA-W: Special Course in Argentine Tango: Feb. 27th-March 13
Special Course in Argentine Tango Begins Feb. 27th
Improve your Argentine Tango by learning both parts (leader and follower) to
increase your appreciation of the dance.
• See what it feels like from the other point of view.
• Get more sensitive to leads and follows.
• Improve your leading or following
(whatever part you normally dance.)
• This class teaches you Level 1 tango as if you took it twice, once as a
leader, once as a follower, with specific attention to technique.
• You will become a better partner when you have perspective of what your
partner does.
This course is being offered in conjunction with the Metronome’s Teacher
Training program. You have the option of being tested on the material, and
can be graded on your understanding, presentation, and dancing. In the test
you will be examined in your dancing of both the leader’s and follower’s
parts and will take a written exam on the facts and specifics of Argentine
Tango.
