I received a flyer last night announcing the upcoming visit of Daniel
Lapadula and Dolores Dalmani to Chicago for Shows, Workshops, and Solo
Tango filming.

Dates: June 8 - June 11 (Thurs - Sun)

Events:
June  8 - 7:30 pm show & milonga      ($15)
June  9 - 6:30- 9:00 pm worshop       ($30)
June 10 - 2 pm and 4:30 pm workshops  ($30 each)
June 11 - 7:30 pm  Dinner-dance with Solo Tango filming  ($40)

Aside re a TANGO-L live music thread:
I was at a local milonga last night and Raul Juarena and friends (piano,
cello, two violins) "dropped by" after an earlier performance.  They
played for only a half-hour, but the "immediacy" and intimacy of live
music (especially as played by someone as sensational as Raul) really
heightens the emotional impact of the tango.
