In Ithaca we are organizing a tango festival on June 23-25, with
instruction and performances by Miguel Zotto & partner from TangoX2
company (TBA), Eduardo Aguirre & Yvonne Meissner, and live music by Trio
Pantango.

Info. about lodging is provided (we will be able to host a limited

Subject: NA-C: Brooke Burdett Summer Tour
Brooke Burdett will be teaching tango workshops in the US and Canada
during the months of June and July (itinerary below). Brooke is a
North American who has be en living in Buenos Aires for over three
years, studying with the older generation's tango masters and with the
younger generation's most innovative leaders. She has taught in many
US cities and appears in instructional videos with Daniel Trenner and
with Mariano "Chicho" Frumboli. Brooke's approach centers around the
art of improvisation and the development of core elements such as
structure, technique, and musical interpretation. She is an incredibly
clear teacher with unique insight!

Dear Tango enthusiasts,
We are very pleased to announce the Boston Tango School's "early summer"
session!
The 8-week session starts May 9th and runs through June 29. Featured guest
visiters are Jose Gafafolo and Yvonne Meissner and Eduardo Aguirre. We
also welcome back Boston area teachers, Sharna Fabiano and Hseuh-tze Lee.

Classes:
Continuing Class A - Tuesdays, 6:30-8:00pm
Many themes including musicality, technique, figures, embellishments, and
improvisation. This class is designed to change constantly with our
revolving talent.
Close Embrace Class - Tuesdays, 8.30-10
Our most advanced class. Learn to dance the intimate, club-style tango
most common in he milongas of Buenos Aires. (Note: you still have time to
get to Tango Ole after class!)
Continuing Class B -- Thursdays, 6:30-8
See description above. This direction of this class may also changed
depending on the preference of the students and teachers. During the spring
semester this time-slot was devoted to milonga.
Basics Class - Thursdays 8.30-10
A terrific class for new tango students and for continuing students who
want to revive, renew, and relearn. Learn basic tango vocabulary, aspects
of connection, and form in a non-competitive, helpful, and friendly
environment. Great for beginners!
Prices:
For one 8-week class - $110 if you register by May 3rd (early rate). $120
after.
Drop in rate - $20
NOTE: Deadline for early registration....ends May 3rd!!!!

Our classes are held at the Meeting Hall at the Cambridge Friends School, 5
Cadbury Rd., just north of Porter Square. This spacious facility has 1600
sq. feet of hardwood floor, high ceilings, and it is climate controlled.
