Subject: NA-E: Solo Tango Filming in Miami
Hello List:
Miami is very proud to inform the Tango community of the world, through The
Tango L, tango A and the Argentine-Tango lists, that Mr Juan Fabri, has been
filming for Solo Tango at two of our milongas.
They were at Roberto Maiolo's on Friday night and most of the Miami dancers
were caught on camera doing what they do best, dancing tango. Again on
Saturday night they filmed, this time at the Randy Pittman's Milonga, where
we also had tangueros from Germany, from Mexico, from Gainsville and Tampa.
We have the good fortune of being the Front Door for the most advanced and
the best teachers and dancers coming from the land of Tango, Argentina.
Saturday night, the lovely Dolores de Amo gave us a class on Ocho Milongueros
and the variations that can be achieved out of that very tight salon step, it
was fabulous, she is an excellent dancer and a very good instructor. We
learned a lot from her and hope she can return to teach us very soon.
We not only have the gorgeous weather, the magnificent beaches, but we
alsohave Tango with excellent local instructors like Daniel Lapadula, who was
there last night to help Dolores de Amo with her class.
There is no financial gain to this E-mail, only an invitation to the rest of
the tangueros of the world, to come and visit us in Paradise and dance tango
with the best teachers, the best ones usually stop in Miami, and to prove
that, we have Solo Tango filming in Miami to show the TV program in Buenos
Aires and the restof the world where it can be seen
