Date: Fri, 21 Jan 2000 13:20:34 -0300 From: Janis Kenyon <jantango @FEEDBACK.NET.AR> Subject: SA: a milonga recommendation in Buenos Aires There is a new Wednesday afternoon milonga in Salon Canning which began in early December (after Italia Unita closed). It is well-attended because it has air-conditioning (it's summer here), the best wood floor in BsAs., excellent music by Federico, and the best milongueros. This is the one milonga of the week I never miss. Although the hours are 3:00-11:00, it doesn't really get going until after 5:00. It is in full swing from 6:00-9:00pm. Salon Canning is located at Av. Scalabrini Ortiz 1331 (three blocks from Cordoba). Beto will greet you at the door with a big smile. Janis Kenyon

Or perhaps people might e-mail info directly to me? Thanks in advance-- Bailemos! --Ira Ithaca, NY

Date: Fri, 21 Jan 2000 19:17:23 PST From: Lily Ader <lilyader @HOTMAIL.COM> Subject: NA-E:Tango house in Miami Hello Listers, I am planning an extended trip to Bs As Beginning in the first few days of March. I'll be there for the better part of the month. I of course will be there for Cosmo Tango 2000. I can't wait. I've already rented an apartment in BsAs. As a result, my house in Miami is available to any tangueros that plan to be here at that time. The house has great spaces for practicing tango. The house will also be available in June, when I'll be tangoing in Israel and hopefully Egypt. If anyone is interested, please inquire directly to my e-mail address. Happy new year to all of you out there and enjoy your dancing. Sincerely, Lily Ader ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com
