Beau Bledsoe and Christine Brebes are members of the DUO LORCA

for this big event.
Jean Oerlich is a bandoneon enthusiast from Chicago.
She has travelled often to Argentina for bandoneon studies.
She also plays oboe and is the marketing director of
the Ravinia Festival in Chicago. Jean, welcome to Denver!
Colorado's EXTASIS includes Evan Orman, Erin Furbee, Rosanna
Patrona-Aurand and Ken Harper. Extasis has been playing for
Colorado milongas for the past two years. Evan and Erin spent
most of last April in Buenos Aires.
Daniel Diaz is an honorary Coloradan, coming from Utah
to join Extasis in playing for us. Dan was born in
San Nicolas, Buenos Aires Province, in Argentina, and started
his studies of music at age six under the tutelage of bandoneon
master Arcangel Juan Stefano and the great bandoneon master
Ciriaco Ortiz. At age 12 he formed and directed his first
orchestra and at age 16 moved to Buenos Aires where he played
with various orchestras and studied with Ciriaco Ortiz and
others. At age 18 he won the Mar del Plata Music Festival.
He played for radio orchestras and at casinos and night clubs.
Dan has not only performed across the USA but has produced and
directed tango music productions. See his web site for
descriptions of his concerts in Atlanta, Salt Lake City,
