Date: Sun, 20 Feb 2000 14:46:51 -0500 From: COSMO TANGO <info @COSMOTANGO.COM> Subject: SA: "CITA-2000" update Hello, Tango Friends: This is a schedule update for the CITA-2000 (Congreso Internacional de Tango Argentino), which will take place in Buenos Aires the week of March 12 - March 19, 2000. Here are the changes to the schedule of classes: Class #21 taught by Giselle Anne is now: "Technique: Boleos for men and women". Class #51 taught by Giselle Anne is now: "Technique: Boleos for men and women". Class #59 will now be taught by Esther & Mingo and is: "Pisada-Caminada". Class #71 will now be taught by Nito & Elba and is: "Tango de Salon". Class # 100 taught by Norberto & Luisa is now: "Special: Ganchos". Please check the schedule on: www.cosmotango.com/Cita_Classes.htm. As you can see, there are now 2 more classes with emphasis on boleos, and 1 more class with emphasis on ganchos. For those of you who are women, signed-up for class #77 (Boleos), and you don't have a partner for that class, PLEASE consider switching to one of the "Boleos" classes with Giselle Anne. Unfortunately, class #77 is extremely out of balance and we really need to address this problem. Even if we can find enough men for this class, it will be over-crowded beyond any reason. PLEASE, consider modifying your schedule to sign-up for another "Boleos" class, such as #21 or #51. Please submit your changes (if any) via e-mail to info @cosmotango.com. Do not use our Web page, which is only for initial registrations. The final date to submit any class selection requests is February 25th. After that date, we'll freeze the database until March 12th when we open the doors at Club Espanol. Please allow up to 2 weeks for confirmation of your changed selections. Our final request to you is that if you have friends who have registered and may not have e-mail and/or do not know of the above changes, please pass the information to them and help them with the selections. Thank you all for your understanding and patience. The final date to register for the CITA-2000 via our Web site (http://www.cosmotango.com/CitaRegistration.htm) is now February 25th. Sincerely, COSMOTANGO www.cosmotango.com

If you are interested in seeing them during your visit to Buenos Aires, please write me. Are you coming to dance in the milongas of Buenos Aires for the first time and don't know where to go, what to expect or how to act? Learn the ins and outs of the milongas from an experienced tanguera who can introduce you to the tango community. Janis Kenyon
