Hi,
I sent this to be posted last Sunday, 1/30/00. I got a message on 1/31 that
it was being forwarded. I haven't seen it posted yet.
This posting has added information about the Milongas and Practica also
happening during Alberto Paz's visit. I know he posted his workshop schedule
by my request. When I realized that another workshop by someone else and the
Milongas/Practica weren't included, I sent you my complete posting.
I hope this will clear up any thought that the two postings were identical.
Would you please post mine that is attached?
Thank you for your consideration.
In Love, Light & Tango!
Sally Moon

Subject: NA-W, NA-C, NA-E: Clarifactation on Snow Ball
I have talked to a number of people concerned about dance time versus
Demonstration time, Tango versus Salsa.
I'm sure if you live in the Bay Area, or in Miami area, or the New York area,
dancing time would carry more importance than floorshow time, since you see
so much excellent dancing all the time. In the Ohio, Pennsylvania area, we
don't see excellent tango performances that often, so demonstration time may
carry a little more importance.
Please let me make this perfectly clear before you purchase your tickets to
the Snow Ball.
Tango Music from CDs will be played for dancing at 6:30 p.m. during the
cocktail hour.
Dinner will be served promptly at 7:00 p. m, and when I know the last person
has their dinner plate, I will start the 1st floor show with everyone
participating doing a demonstration. Everyone is eating, No one is dancing,
what better time is there for a floorshow.
Around 9:00 p.m. a shorter floorshow will happen. Daniel Lapadula, and Tioma
Maloratsky will each do a solo demonstrations, ending with all our stars
sharing the dance floor for the finally.
At 10:00 p.m. A Live salsa band will play. Belinda's Night Club is renown for
the Salsa bands that they have playing there. During the Band breaks Tango
CDs will also be played.
So in other words, strictly tango from 6:30 to 10:00
After 10:00 Salsa and Tango both until 2:00 a.m.
