Dear Listeras and Listeros,=20
Some time ago I was asked if I could help to organize the 1st Europe tour fo=
r=20
"Los Reyes del Tango". Due to totally unrealistic terms and conditions their=
=20
manager Maria Peralta came up with it didn't work out as planned. But the=20
musicians wanted to travel, as a orchestra named "Los Reyes" t=EDpica to tan=
go.=20
Judit Lentijo (Maria's ex assitant) took over as manager. As it happens=20
musicians fell ill, had other duties a.s.f. and she ended up with a=20
completely different orchestra.
When they informed us about these changes it was too late to cancel the tour=
.=20
The new director of the orchestra Mr. Humberto Pinheiro gave is word of=20
honour that he would take care to fullfill all contracts/liabilities a.s.f.
Not to be misunderstood: the music was good.
BUT: During the tour Adrian Moranchel took over Judit Lentijo's work (she ha=
d=20
a severe health problem). Mr. Morancel kept a lot of money which wasn't his.=
=20
People who had payed travel expenses, advanced money for Mr. Pinheiro a.s.f.=
=20
didn't get back theirs. It all disappeared in Mr. Moranchel's hands who took=
=20
a nice long vacation in Spain aftwards........
Since I get daily mails informing me and others that Adrian Moranchel is now=
=20
the manager of "Los Reyes" I think its necessary to make known what happened=
.=20
Due to the bad experiences we had with Mr. Moranchel we can't recommend to d=
o=20
any kind of business with him or Humberto Pinheiro.=20
More details about what happend can be found soon at www. eltango.de or=20
contact me.
Lets hope the next ballroom orchestra coming from Bs As will be managed by a=
=20
honest person!

Museo Vivo del Tango
On 4 September, a new museum dedicated to tango will open
on Piedras, between Independencia and Chile, in the neighborhood
Montserrat. El Victorial, a small old palace, has been transformed
by Ricardo Cristofani and Agustin Perez Pardella. The museum
houses private collections, recordings, videos and a tango studio.
There are 750 framed photos of tango personalities. In the afternoon
you can listen to the voices of tango and at night see a show with music,
dancers and actors portraying Gardel, Goyeneche, Troilo and
Piazzolla.
