Date: Tue, 26 Oct 1999 20:30:34 EDT From: Megan Pingree <Pmpingree @AOL.COM> Subject: NA-W: Tango Band for New Years Eve? Hola A-Listers, Late though it may be for such a search, I am hoping that there just might still be a good, small (3-4 musicians) tango band out there looking for a good gig this New Years' Eve. ( Maybe the party they were originally scheduled to play fell through?) Perhaps a band native to the Western part of the country, or maybe one that's touring through. Portland has a fairly young (4 yr old) tango community. But what we lack in years, we make up for in sheer enthusiam and hospitality. (Ask anyone!) We'd be delighted to host and hire an experienced band for our Tango 2000 Bash. Please respond with any suggestions to: pmpingree @aol.com Thanks! Megan Pingree Wild Ideas (503) 222-4691
