Date: Tue, 14 Dec 1999 14:03:33 EST From: Dario Mendiguren <C21DARI @AOL.COM> Subject: New Year's plans! Dear Tango friends, Let me forward this message that Alberto Paz has sent us and have a Happy Holiday and lot of healthy and happy Tangos for the year 2000!! Dario Dear friends, We are very happy to announce that we will be welcoming the year 2000 in New York City with our dear friends Walter and MariLynne Kane and many tangueros from various parts of the country. If you still have not made up your mind about your plans for New Year's Eve we would love to suggest that you join us at Dance Manhattan, where Lucille Krassne, Coco Arregui and Juan Pablo (Gotham's finest Tango promoters) will be hosting the New Year's Eve Milonga to commemorate the Millennium. The event will start at 10 PM and it will go on to 6 AM. The organizers wish to bring together the entire Tango community at this special time, and they have planned free flowing champagne and wine, an Argentine banquet, a multimedia faux Times Square countdown at midnight, a Y2K electric hat contest, a pageantry appropriate to a once in a Millennium party plus door prizes that include a round trip to Buenos Aires from New York. Of course we will be dancing and we look forward to see you all if you can come. The all inclusive price is $75 per person and you should call Lucille at 212.777.6053 (lukrasne @aol.com) or Coco at 212.989.3585 (cocoarreg @aol.com) Dance Manhattan, 39 West 19th Street. In case we miss you, have a memorable and wonderful Holiday Season. Our heartfelt appreciation to all who welcomed us and hosted us during our travels in 1999. Visit our website for updated information about our teaching schedule and other special events.
