He seems to have a real talent in composing and playing the music and it is a real delight for dancing. Be advised George Guim will teach an intermediate/advanced Argentine Tango lesson henceforth on Monday evenings at the Glas Kat beginning at 7:45PM. George and his partner will also instruct beginners at the same time. The GLAS KAT welcomes you to attend EVERY MONDAY NIGHT WITH LIVE TANGO BAND Hours 8:30 to 12:00 PM San Francisco's newest and most exciting dance club, Monday nights dedicated to dancing Argentine Tango to the live music of Dale Meyers and his STRICTLY TANGO band Beautiful, brand new club built from the ground up as a dance club with fabulous sound and lighting system. Two level (high) dance space with tables and banquets, grand wood dance floor, 2nd level restaurant, two bars, smoking room, and much more. A very elegant night spot to say the least. In mid January, year 2000, the Glas Kat will hold a series of grand openings each evening for virtually a solid week, with each evening featuring a different type dance, Salsa, Swing, Big Band, etc., all to live music. The final milonga at Lincoln University. The lesson starts at 8PM and will consist of advanced intermediate material, as always. The dance will be from 9PM - 'til at Lincoln University Auditorium, 281 Masonic Avenue at Turk, 2nd floor, in San Francisco. $10.00 at the door. Let's all dress up and give George and his Lincoln milonga the tribute he/it deserves for the many wonderful past evenings we have enjoyed.
