In tango, there are lots of talks about how to lead and follow, how to get
connected etc, but it seems not much was told about how to get trained to do
the difficult showy stuff we saw that the masters performed, like the jumps,
the throwing the partner up and down etc. I wonder if there's any classes
teaching these and bringing dancers to a higher level, or it's just those
who can do it will be able to do them by practicing themselves?
and besides these showy stuff, i'd like to ask any experienced dancers here,
is there any basic exercises we can do to train up our muscle, so that we
can tune our body to do better those movements in tango. I mean like in
ballet, we've a lot of bar works and floor works to do that helps us do
those jumps and turns and get en pointe etc, i always want to be able to
practice on my own even without a partner so that i can improve my own
skill. Is there any suggestion?
