It is rude for women to set up a class for followers and call it "no men".
It was a Followers class, not a "women's class".

It is even MORE rude for the women to assume that men that want to follow
must be gay, as implied by the spike stilletos comment.  I am straight but
am interested in taking follower's lessons because it will improve my
general dance ability.  Like most men I do not have as good balance as
followers, nor do I have as fine a control over my foot positions as
followers do.  I have spent 6 years learning how to lead and am reasonablly
good at it, but a woman that has been following for 2 years does certain
things better than I do.

And it is EVEN MORE rude for the women to use that comment in an insulting
manner, implying that a gay man who might actually want to wear those
stilletos is inferior.  There is nothing wrong with being gay, anymore than
being straight.
