Subject: Dance Floors
Hi List,
You know we talk about dancing tango, feeling tango, experiencing tango,
etc......BUT...
What about dance floors? Aren't floors important in dancing Tango? I think
they are. Afterall, if they are too slippery we can't really dance Tango,
maybe skate, but not dance. If they are too sticky then we can't make our
pivots and turns very well. I've manage to dance on different floors in all
different conditions. By far, the best floor I've ever danced on was on the
one at Stanford University. It was a sprung wood floor. It was like
walking on a cloud but with resistance to feel the movement of my feet and
body.
So how about some stories on your good and bad experiences on different
dance floors.
