Thanks, Alberto

I'll be in Hawaii Dec 28 - Jan 5 (maybe longer if all the planes fall
from the sky). Any tango then in Honolulu or thereabouts? *Please
answer off-list* to withey @sfo.com or I won't get your reply....
Thanks!

I just wanted to publicly praise the efforts of Ricardo of "Learn to
Dance Austin" and all the Austin people who made the Thanksgiving
weekend such a wonderful success. Fabian Salas and Luciana Valle were
the teaching stars!
A special thanks to Joel for his home away from home Thanksgiving dinner
for all the out of towners. I thought I had given up turkey for tango,
but what a feast it was.
And what a tango feast it was! 40 hours of classes, reviews, practicas
and milongas...all stuffed into 4 days!
That Fabian is such a good teacher, clear and patient, creative and
inspiring. Luciana was equally good, he trying to always keep her
grounded, for I think she could of literally bounced to the ceiling, so
enthused to teach.
From Missouri, I had driven to Tulsa, Oklahoma, picked up friends, and
traveled on to Austin, Texas. There, as always, it's so much fun to
meet old friends and make new ones. (Great news...I met a group from
Kansas City just starting tango. Elizabeth O'Keefe has organized the
Midwest Argentine Society with already over 150 members! They're
planning a big Valentine party, Feb. 5th.)
A June dance in Santa Fe, a November dance in Austin, and a February
dance in Kansas City. Life is good.
In the meantime, Dance one for me,
Karen
P.S. We must work on Ricardo to have us again next Thanksgiving! He was
a great host!

Hi List,
Thanks to a lot of people who truly support the Tango community. It looks
like we are going to have a great event and it just might be the start of an
annual event every year.
Yes the tickets are selling and we hope it is going to be a great way to
bring in the next millennium.
Go to http://inscenes.com/party for more information.
Bob Mackenzie will be hosting this party and there are people flying in from
Argentina.
Reserve your place on the floor now .
A portion of every ticket goes to benifit the May View Community Health
Center. And since your not going to stop dancing. You might as well dance for
a good cause.
See you in both millenniums
