SPECIAL GUEST HOST AT JUEVES THIS WEEK - 12/9/04

This Thursday, December 9th Tioma Maloratsky will be our special guest host, filling in for regular host Ellen Sowchek. Tioma has been taking a break from hosting a regular weekly milonga, so we are delighted that he has agreed to run things for us this week. For those of you who have missed him, he’s back (at least for this week!) and for those of you who have never experienced his wonderful classes and excellent DJ skills, you are in for a real treat. Please join him for a wonderful evening beginning with an intermediate level class from 9:00-10:00pm, followed by dancing from 10:00pm until 1:00am.

HOLIDAY PARTY ON DECEMBER 23rd
Our annual Holiday Party will take place on Thursday, December 23rd. We are pleased to announce that we have invited Murat Erdemsel to be our guest teacher and performer that evening. Join us as we celabrate the holidays with a winter wonderland fantasy of music, dance and food, beginning at 9:00pm. Admission is $15.00.

NO MILONGA ON DECEMBER 30th
A reminder: This year, December 31st falls on a Friday. We know that many of you are planning to welcome 2005 at one of New York City's two fabulous New Year's Eve milongas. To give you all more time to prepare and more energy to celebrate, there will be no Jueves Milonga on Thursday, December 30th.  HAPPY NEW YEAR!

TANGO TEA TASTING
We are tentatively planning a tea tasting to be held during our February 3, 2005 milonga. What a warm idea for a cold winter's evening! (It also happens to be Ellen's birthday!) Save the date - more details to follow!
