Hernan has taught worldwide including Canada, Brasil, Japan, Korean, France, Denmark, Italy, and of course Buenos Aires. His style is beautifully fluid and elegant with great concentration on technique and classical style. His teachers include the Dinzels, Pugliese and Naveira. He was a great success when he came last year. Mariana Dragone is one of the best young female dancers. She has taught at Nora's Tango Week and at CITA. She has danced as the partner of El Indio. They will be coming from teaching in Montreal and will be teaching next at the Portland Tangofest and then to NYC. Their classes here include the following: Wednesday Oct 18th: Golden Gate Milonga 7:30 - 8:30 p.m. All levels "Salon style" Milonga afterwards with demonstration, Golden Gate Yacht Club, end of Yacht Road on the Marina, San Francisco, $12 class and milonga Saturday Oct 28th: Workshops * 1:30-3:20 p.m. Workshop #1 Contrabody position in giros and ochos 3:40-5:30 p.m. Workshops #2 Milonga syncopation and contratiempo "All Night Milonga at the BEAT" Class 9-10:30 p.m. All levels Milonga afterwards with demonstration, 2560 9th St., Berkeley, $15 class and milonga Sunday Oct 29th Workshops * 1:30-3:20 p.m. Workshop #3 Sacadas, boleos and ganchos 3:40-5:30 Workshop #4 Jumps and finales *All week-end workshops will be at the intermediate/advanced level.
