Listeros y Listeras,
I would like to take private tango lessons while in London - can anybody
recommend me a good teacher there and please give me his e-mail and/or
telephone number. How much does usually a private class in London cost?
Thanks in advance!

Subject: NA-W: Tango in Golden Gate Park on Sunday afternoons!
" Free Dance Party
TANGO ARGENTINO
Sundays in Golden Gate Park: 3:30 - 6 pm "
(This announcement posted on behalf of the organizers:)
There will be an outdoor milonga, in San Francisco's beautiful Golden Gate
Park, starting this Sunday afternoon the 24th, and extending through
October. It will take place at the Music Concourse (otherwise known as
the Bandshell and large outdoor stage) right in the gardens, exactly
between the de Young Museum and Japanese Tea Garden, and the California
Academy of Sciences (Ed: this is incredible real estate, the epicenter of
G.G. Park; and reliable information has it that the organizers have an
official and legal permit for the events, from the Park management!)
Activities will start with a "Class and Practica with Roberto Riobo" (from
Argentina).
All Welcome !!!!

Steve Hoffman, on behalf of the organizers)

orchestra "Color Tango." They have taught and toured extensively in
Europe and Argentina, and just recently have started teaching in the
U.S. We are pleased to be able to present them to Washington on one
of their first U.S. tours. The workshops are designed for
Intermediate dancers to improve our skills and become Advanced
Dancers. Julio and Corina are also considered one of the best
exponents of the Tango Vals (Waltz) in the world, so almost half the
classes are in the Tango Vals. This is not often taught in here at
this level, so do take advantage of this opportunity.

Subject: NA-C, NA-E: Nestor and Patricia Ray in Cleveland
This weekend in Cleveland, Ohio
Nestor and Patricia Ray are doing an outstanding job teaching Milonguerro
Style Tango, and Milonga Trespie
at Belinda's Bar, 9613 Madison Ave. 216/651-1968
Their syncopation of steps is incredible, their dancing is extremely smooth,
with much elegance. Last night we went swing dancing and Nestor and Patricia
knocked them dead there also. There doesn't seem to be anything this couple
can't dance to
You still have time to join us on Saturday and Sunday starting at 1:00 at
Belinda's Bar
