GROUP CLASSES: Commencing April 5, WEDNESDAY is BEGINNING-INTERMEDIATE, 8-8:30 warm up, 8:30-9:30 class, 9:30-10pm practice, and commencing April 7, FRIDAY is BEGINNING-INTERMEDIATE from 8-8:30 warm up, class 8:30-9:30pm, and 9:30-10 practice. Price is $15/class. NEW CLASS - Commencing April 7, FRIDAY from 7-8 is a BEGINNERS class, 8-8:30 practice. Price is $50 per person for a 4-week series (beginning Apr.7-28) payable at the first night of the series. These changes will continue until further notice. WORKSHOPS: Sunday, April 9, 3-5pm, The Studio, 1018 Almanor Lane, Lafayette. Metin Yazir who has been lauded for his style, elegance and improvisational style of teaching and dance will be spending 10 days here. His first class will be on Friday 8-10 p.m., "Embellishments for Women," at the Beat in Berkeley, 9th and Dwight, $25 adv. $30 door. On Saturday he will be doing two classes at La Pena, 3105 shattuck Ave in Berkeley, a fundamentals class 1-3 p.m. and intermediate salon 3-5. Each of these workshops will be $25 adv./ or $30 door, with a discount of $5 if both are taken. That evening he will be teaching at the BEat just before the all night milonga. His class on "Milonguero Style Close embrace" will be from 9:15 - 10:30. Both the class and milonga are $15, a great bargain, considering you get to dance to dawn! Sunday he will be doing two workshops at Rhythm and Motion, 1133 Mission, SF. From 1-3 "Creating your own Tango Steps" and from 3-5 p.m "Easy Aerials".
